Mini is a sleek device with impressive looks and similar features to
its elder brother iPad,apple i pad. It is a follow step to bridge the gap of between
4 inch iPhone and 10 inch iPad.
Though, it got a very meager
response on the launch day as compared to other Apple product's launch
held before. But as per experts in the coming time Apple iPad Mini may
stick some great sales in future.
Now, what difference it will bring in iphone software development and
iPad apps development environment? The iPad Mini is expected to have
275K apps in its pocket out of all 700k apps in the Apple app store
which is a big gap. It is also said that all iPad applications will run
successfully on iPad because of the same pixel ratio 1024x768 but that
does not mean that iPad Mini will not have applications exclusively made
for it.
It is a very challenging time for iphone app developer as
recently the two products launched by Apple have changes in dimensions
which need to be addresses by them very smartly. Though we cannot call
it hardware fragmentation as it is a very initial face and we are not
clear about what all issues developers are facing. But then the Apple's
development environment is not that easy anymore as it was before the
launch of iPhone5 and iPad Mini.
iPad Mini is a device designed
for one handed usage. So, there are some particular applications
categories which will actually be very beneficial for developers to
consider like navigation, tourism, education and many more.
The
new iPad Mini is an interesting concept with strong brand and app store
by its side but them it has great competition of dominated players which
